12yo relies on blood donors to keep her alive, but there's a big shortage

Australia is currently facing a significant blood shortage, specifically regarding type O and A blood supplies, which is impacting patients such as a 12-year-old child who relies on regular blood donations to stay alive.

To address the depleted supplies, health authorities and blood services have issued an urgent call for more than 12,000 people to donate blood over the next seven days.
