15-year-old rescued after clinging to capsized boat for days in Alaska's Bering Sea

A 15-year-old boy was rescued by a fishing vessel this week after surviving for days atop a capsized skiff in Alaska's Bering Sea. The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed the rescue occurred after the youth had been clinging to the overturned vessel in frigid waters.

The incident resulted in the deaths of the boy's brother and cousin, who were also aboard the boat when it flipped. Authorities indicated that the two relatives did not survive the ordeal following the capsizing.
