Newz(WFLA)— Two people were arrested after a 2-year-old ingested kratom and died, the West Melbourne Police Department announced. A death investigation was initiated in mid-May after the 2-year-old was brought to a hospital unresponsive. The toddler's father, Jerome Jordan, and his sister brought her to the hospital just after 6 a.m.
