2 dead, about 50 people displaced after suspicious fire breaks out at Duncan apartment

Two people died and approximately 50 residents were displaced following a fire at the Gala Vista apartments on Government Street in Duncan. The incident was reported to emergency services at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Fire Chief Geoff Spriggs confirmed the emergency response to the apartment complex. Authorities have categorized the fire as suspicious, and an investigation into the cause and circumstances of the blaze is currently underway.
