2 tornadoes touch down in southwestern Ontario as storms blow through region

Two tornadoes touched down in southwestern Ontario as severe storms swept through the region on Saturday. The severe weather prompted Environment Canada to issue a tornado alert for the area.

Alongside the confirmed tornadoes, the weather alert warned residents of additional hazards accompanying the storm system. These included potentially damaging winds, large hail, and locally intense rainfall.
