25% of agricultural water wells equipped with smart meters

The Director General of the Agricultural Water Affairs Office of the Ministry of Agriculture in Tehran has announced that 25 percent of agricultural water wells have now been equipped with smart meters.

This development establishes the groundwork for volumetric water delivery to the agricultural sector. The initiative follows the official transfer of water management responsibilities to designated operators.
