4 Bodies Found in Haiti Believed to Be Those of Missing Salvadoran Soldiers

Four bodies have been discovered in Haiti and are believed to be the remains of missing Salvadoran soldiers. The soldiers were ambushed six days prior while serving as part of a United Nations-backed anti-gang task force.

In response to the disappearance, El Salvador had previously deployed hundreds of troops to Haiti in an effort to locate the missing servicemen before the discovery of the bodies was announced.
