NewzOne person was taken to a hospital Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Fort Lauderdale that left one vehicle on its side and another resting against a building, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials.Officials said they received a 911 call just before 8 a.m. about a vehicle rollover in the 700 block of Northeast Flagler Drive.When crews arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the crash. One was on its side, while the other had come to rest against a building.Two people suffered minor injuries, officials said.

A fiery crash Thursday night involving a car hauler, a motorcycle and several other vehicles caused significant traffic delays on Florida’s Turnpike in Broward County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.FHP officials said three southbound lanes were closed between Commercial Boulevard and Sunrise Boulevard as emergency crews responded to the scene.Four patients were transported to hospitals, including one person who was taken as a trauma alert, authorities said.An additional crash in the northbound lanes adjacent to the southbound incident blocked one lane and further slowed traffic Thursday night.Tamarac Fire Rescue, Lauderhill Fire Rescue, Sunrise Fire Rescue and other emergency personnel responded to the scene.Authorities have not yet released details about what led up to either crash.
