48-hour curfew extended in the St Andrew North Division

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of the St Andrew North police division has been extended. The curfew will continue from 6:00 pm Friday, September 4, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm Sunday, September 6. The boundaries of the curfew are as follows: NORTH: From Golden Spring Road, with an imaginary line to the intersection of Airy Castle Road and Bowden Hill Road.

EAST: From Airy Castle Road and Bowden Hill Road to the intersection of Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue. SOUTH: From the intersection of Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue, along Lipscombe Avenue to the intersection of Old Stony Hill Road and Seaview Road. WEST: From the intersection of Stony Hill Road to Golden Spring Road, St Andrew.

During the hours of the curfew, individuals within its boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
