48K fire pits sold by Marshalls, Macy’s recalled after consumer suffers third-degree burns

Nearly 50,000 Brookstone-branded tabletop fire pits sold at major retailers including Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Macy’s have been recalled following reports of sudden, escaping flames that caused severe burn injuries, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
