4th minister for David Eby announces she’s not running in upcoming election

British Columbia Jobs Minister Brenda Bailey has announced she will not seek re-election in the upcoming provincial vote, making her the fourth minister under Premier David Eby's administration to step down. The decision follows her diagnosis with early-stage treatable cancer in August, which required surgery.

Bailey confirmed that she is now cancer-free following her treatment. Despite her recovery, she has chosen not to run in the election scheduled for October 24.
