60 days after the earthquakes in Venezuela

Sixty days after a double earthquake struck Venezuela, ongoing recovery and relief efforts continue in the affected disaster zones. The initial event involved two major sisms measuring magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5, which hit with a 39-second interval on June 24.

Volunteer rescue workers, including Domingo Pacheco who arrived on the scene from the very first day, remain actively engaged in ongoing operations in the disaster area as recovery efforts persist two months after the initial catastrophe.
