A forest fire that broke out on Wednesday in Salas de Bureba, Burgos, is currently showing favorable progress. The blaze originated in an agricultural area before spreading into a pine forest, driven by wind conditions. Emergency crews conducted operations throughout the night to contain the fire.

Following these overnight efforts, the fire has been largely brought under control. Authorities report that only a small area of the pine forest continues to show active flames as suppression work continues.
