Nepal rescuers try to reach dozens trapped in tunnel after two pulled out alive

Two workers were rescued from a hydropower tunnel in Nepal on Friday, nine days after being trapped underground. The men were recovered following a disaster in which a wall of ice, rock, and mud swept through the valley where the hydropower station is located.

The rescue operation marks a significant development in the aftermath of the event, which occurred along the Trishuli River. Efforts to reach the trapped individuals concluded successfully more than a week after the initial incident.
