A heartless new scam targets veterans with fake monthly benefits and official-looking postcards

Veterans and their families are being warned of a new scam that tricks targets into thinking they may qualify for extra veterans benefits. Potential victims receive a postcard regarding a “Veterans Savings Program” that offers monthly benefits for qualified veterans, according to the Federal Trade Commission.
