A Hunt for masterminds…Samia launches commission to probe into election violence

President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania launched a Commission of Inquiry in Dar es Salaam to investigate individuals responsible for violence and legal violations committed during and after the 2025 General Election.

The newly established commission is tasked with conducting a comprehensive investigation into the events surrounding the election period to establish accountability for the unrest and lawbreaking.
