Abinader will open the school year in Santo Domingo East

President Luis Abinader will lead the official opening ceremony for the 2026-2027 school year this Monday. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education (Minerd) and is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Escuela Básica Espejo La Milagrosa.

The school is located in the Cancela-La Ureña sector of Santo Domingo Este. The ceremony marks the formal commencement of the academic calendar for the upcoming school year.
