Abinader will open the school year in Santo Domingo East

President Luis Abinader will head the official opening ceremony for the 2026-2027 academic year, which is organized by the Ministry of Education (Minerd). The event is scheduled to take place this coming Monday.

The ceremony will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Escuela Básica Espejo La Milagrosa, situated in the Cancela-La Ureña sector of Santo Domingo Este.
