Above the clouds, below the sunset: Asir’s evening spectacle

As autumn sunsets occur over the Asir region, the local highlands transform with a golden appearance. Drifting clouds pass between towering peaks while hillside villages cling to the slopes below.

From the surrounding heights, the city of Abha appears cradled in mist, surrounded by folding mountains and clouds. As dusk deepens, road and neighborhood lights begin to flicker on beneath the mist and cloud cover.
