Adoexpo defends the operations of Dominican exporters

The Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo) has formally defended the integrity of Dominican export operations following allegations from the United States. The U.S. government has accused approximately 40 countries, including the Dominican Republic, of serving as transit points for Chinese goods intended to bypass American tariffs.

Adoexpo maintains that these accusations should not lead to premature conclusions regarding the legitimacy of local trade practices. The organization’s response seeks to address concerns regarding the potential misuse of export channels to circumvent international trade regulations.
