ADP reports more demonstrations and maintains teaching hours in Higüey

The Municipal Executive Committee of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP) in Higüey has announced a series of new protest actions following the expiration of a 36-hour ultimatum issued to educational authorities. The union is demanding immediate responses to previously submitted grievances regarding local educational conditions.

Despite the escalation in protest activity, the ADP has confirmed that the regular teaching schedule will continue in Higüey. The actions follow the conclusion of the deadline set by the union on the first of the month, signaling a continued impasse between the teachers' organization and the Ministry of Education.
