ADP reports more demonstrations and maintains teaching hours in Higüey

The Municipal Executive Committee of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP), Higüey branch, has announced further protest concentrations after declaring the expiration of a 36-hour ultimatum issued to educational authorities on the first of the month. Despite the escalation in demonstrations, the union has decided to maintain the standard teaching schedule in the area.

The actions are being taken to press authorities for responses to a series of pending demands presented by the teachers' association. The local branch's leadership is intensifying pressure through organized gatherings while continuing regular classroom activities.
