CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup: TZ envoys learn their routes

Tanzanian football clubs have confirmed their paths in the upcoming CAF inter-club competitions, with seven teams representing the nation across the Champions League and the Confederation Cup. Three Tanzanian clubs are slated for Champions League participation, including Simba SC, which is set to face Malawi’s Mighty Wanderers. Four additional clubs will compete in the Confederation Cup.

Concurrently, Egyptian club Al Ahly has entered the CAF Confederation Cup for the current season. As a record-holding side with 25 CAF titles, the team received a bye into the second qualifying round, where they will face either Mogadishu City of Somalia or Kitara of Uganda in their pursuit of a second Confederation Cup title.
