African quartet secure Women’s World Cup places

Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon, and Malawi have secured qualification for the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil. The four nations earned their tournament places by advancing to the semi-finals of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon).

The continental championship, currently being hosted in Morocco, doubles as the official qualification pathway for the upcoming global tournament, with all semi-finalists automatically guaranteeing their participation in next summer's World Cup.
