Agriculture spent 7 times more on its budget than its procurement plan

The General Comptroller of the Republic of the Dominican Republic conducted two audits of the Ministry of Agriculture, uncovering multimillion-dollar discrepancies. The findings revealed that the ministry executed a budget seven times larger than its public procurement and contracting plans, as well as its annual operational plan.
