AI use doubles in Türkiye, but lack of expertise remains key barrier

Data released by the national statistics authority shows that the share of individuals in Türkiye using generative artificial intelligence nearly doubled in a year, rising from 19.2% in 2025 to 37.6% in 2026.

Despite the significant growth in adoption rates across the country, the lack of technical expertise remains a key barrier to further expansion of artificial intelligence use.
