Air Niugini targets 4-star rating by 2027 and B767 replacement

Air Niugini is actively working to elevate its service standards and secure its long-term operational growth by aiming for a prestigious four-star airline rating by the year 2027. Chief Executive Officer Alan Milne announced the strategic initiative, which focuses on modernizing the carrier's passenger experience and service quality.

Alongside the service quality upgrade, the airline is addressing the complex operational challenge of replacing its ageing Boeing 767 fleet. This fleet transition is considered a critical component of the carrier's broader strategy to position itself for the next three decades of growth.
