At least 5 dead on a boat rescued south of the Canary Islands after nearly a month at sea

Spanish Maritime Rescue services recovered a boat carrying 45 survivors—44 men and one woman—south of the Canary Islands early Thursday morning. The vessel had been at sea for nearly a month before being intercepted.
