Al-Sisi asserts that Egypt will take any measure necessary to defend Saudi Arabia

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stated on Saturday that Egypt will take any necessary measures to defend Saudi Arabia. Al-Sisi emphasized that these actions would follow the directives of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

To facilitate potential defensive actions, al-Sisi announced the convocation of an emergency parliamentary session. This session is intended to formally authorize specific defensive measures should Cairo receive an official request from Riyadh.
