Alberta First Nations gearing up for referendum

Alberta First Nations are preparing for a provincial referendum scheduled for October 19. Community organizers are actively mobilizing to ensure high voter turnout among Indigenous populations for the upcoming vote.

Angel Houle, a community member who has previously never participated in a provincial election, is currently assisting First Nations leaders by providing necessary resources and support to facilitate get-out-the-vote efforts.
