Alberta voting locations extend hours after late openings, delaying referendum results

Elections Alberta announced that voting locations across the province have extended their hours following late openings at various polling stations. Consequently, the release of unofficial referendum results has been delayed.

Due to the extended voting hours, Elections Alberta stated that it cannot release unofficial results until 10 p.m., which is when the final polling station is scheduled to close.
