Alberta woman says airline lost husband’s ashes

An Alberta woman named Twyla Shannahan has stated that an airline lost the ashes of her late husband. According to Shannahan, she possessed all the necessary and proper documentation required to transport the remains.

Despite having the correct paperwork, Shannahan reported that airport personnel instructed her to place the ashes into a checked bag instead of carrying them on her person.
