Alert over lack of census of earthquake victims in Colombia

Colombia's Ombudsperson, Iris Marín, warned on Wednesday in Quibdó about the absence of an official census following the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck on Monday.

Speaking in one of the cities shaken by the seismic event, Marín stated that the lack of a census makes it impossible to determine the true number of victims and hinders the provision of aid to thousands of affected people.
