Alfredo Pacheco assumes the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies

Alfredo Pacheco has been sworn in as the president of the Chamber of Deputies for the 2026-2027 legislative year. This marks his tenth time assuming the leadership role within the legislative body of the Dominican Republic.

In his leadership team, Pacheco will be supported by Dharuelly D'Aza, who will serve as vice president. The positions of secretaries will be held by Julio Emil Durán Rodríguez and Leyvi Bautista.
