Alias “Chombón”, one of Panama’s most wanted men, was captured in Costa Rica

Favio Javier Enrique Díaz Bascombe, widely known by the alias "Chombón" and recognized as one of Panama's most wanted fugitives, has been captured in Costa Rica. The arrest was successfully executed through joint police cooperation between authorities in Panama and Costa Rica.

Díaz Bascombe was the subject of active warrants issued by Panamanian law enforcement. He is formally required by justice systems to face serious criminal charges, specifically involving gang affiliation (pandillerismo) and aggravated homicide.
