An alleged member of the Clan del Golfo who surrendered to the National Army in the rural area of Briceño, Antioquia, has revealed that the criminal organization formed an alliance with dissidents from the 36th Front led by "Calarcá" in northern Antioquia.

According to the statement from the individual who surrendered alongside three other suspected members, the alliance involved financial compensation, with the dissident group reportedly receiving monetary funds as part of the pact.
