Severe flooding between Nepal and Tibet has resulted in at least 95 confirmed fatalities. The disaster, described by survivors as involving waves reaching six meters in height, has also left a significant number of foreign nationals missing, with reports varying between 341 and 466 individuals unaccounted for.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed that two Italian citizens caught in a landslide within the affected region are in good condition. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently monitoring the situation, noting that approximately 90 Italian nationals are present in the broader area.
