During Saturday's qualifying session for the Dutch Grand Prix, the twelfth round of the Formula One World Championship, several notable drivers were eliminated in the early stages. Argentine driver Franco Colapinto and his French teammate Pierre Gasly, driving for Alpine, were knocked out during the second qualifying round (Q2), a session in which McLaren set the pace.

Earlier in the qualifying proceedings, during the first round (Q1), multiple seasoned and prominent drivers also faced elimination. Spanish drivers Carlos Sainz of Williams and Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin were eliminated after recording the seventeenth and eighteenth fastest times, respectively. Meanwhile, Mexican driver Checo Pérez, competing for Cadillac, exited the session with the twenty-second fastest time.
