Amazon issues nationwide recall for 178K+ heated blankets after dozens of fires, injuries

About 178,000 heated sherpa throws and blankets sold exclusively on Amazon have been recalled nationwide because the associated electrical cords can detach and ignite, “posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire, burn and shock hazards.”
