The 8011 Penal Circuit Court of Bogota has sentenced Ricardo Rafael González Castro and Juan Carlos Suárez Ortiz to 450 months in prison for the aggravated homicide of Universidad de los Andes student Jaime Esteban Moreno.
Following the sentencing, a friend of one of the convicted individuals revealed details regarding how the perpetrators gained admission to the university on scholarships, noting that the individual achieved the top Icfes exam score in their school.
