Anti-draft protesters try to block roads into Tel Hashomer IDF base to prevent haredi recruitment

Protesters demonstrating against the conscription of ultra-Orthodox men attempted to block access roads leading to the Tel Hashomer IDF base. The demonstration resulted in the closure of Ya'akov Dori Street in Kiryat Ono, spanning from Levi Eshkol Street to Shlomo Hamelech, in both directions.

Israel Police responded to the disruption by managing traffic flow and advising motorists to utilize alternate routes to avoid the area. The protest reflects ongoing tensions surrounding the recruitment of the haredi community into the Israeli military.
