Argentina retrocede ocho puestos en el índice global de brecha de género del WEF

Argentina has fallen eight positions in the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Index for 2026, ranking 45th out of 145 countries evaluated.

The decline is driven by the country's largest gaps in economic participation and political or professional empowerment. Despite these setbacks, Argentina maintains absolute gender parity in the educational sector.
