Former Miss Universe contestant Ariadna Gutiérrez has married in a private ceremony away from the cameras, according to a statement by presenter Rodner Figueroa.

Gutiérrez achieved global recognition in 2015 when she reached the grand final of the Miss Universe pageant held in Las Vegas, where she was mistakenly announced as the winner by presenter Steve Harvey before the correct winner was named.
