The Colombian Navy seized nearly four tons of marijuana during two fluvial control operations in the Amazonas region. According to institutional reports, authorities confiscated a total of 3,731 kilograms of the illicit substance.
Authorities noted that the recovered drug packages bore the image of the late drug lord Pablo Escobar. Officials attributed the ownership of the seized cargo to an Organized Armed Group operating in the area.
