Mariners’ Kade Anderson signs autographs, takes it all in before impressing in big league debut

Randy Arozarena hit a dramatic, walk-off, two-run home run in the ninth inning to lift the Seattle Mariners to a 5-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Arozarena drove a pitch from Cubs closer Jacob Webb 404 feet to straightaway center field, erasing a 4-2 deficit that Seattle had faced heading into the final stages of the game.

The game also featured the Major League Baseball debut of rookie Kade Anderson, who started for the Mariners. Anderson delivered an up-and-down performance on the mound, allowing three runs over 5 2/3 innings before the Mariners mounted their late-inning comeback to secure the win.
