Artists set to reap 2bn/- in royalties in November

Tanzanian artists are scheduled to receive a major royalty payout of approximately 2 billion Tanzanian shillings in November. The funds are being distributed by the government through the country’s established copyright levy system.

Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports Paul Makonda announced the upcoming distribution. Preparations for the payout are currently underway.
