Aryna Sabalenka swept out of China Open in straight-sets defeat by Nikola Bartunkova

Second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka was eliminated from the China Open in Beijing on Sunday after a straight-sets defeat to 34th-ranked Nikola Bartunkova. The loss occurred during the tournament's third round.

This result leaves the China Open without its top two seeds, as top-seeded Elena Rybakina was also defeated in the tournament. The exit of both high-ranking players marks a significant shift in the competition's progression.
