As Russia again draws near, a front-line city fears obliteration this time

Russian troops are once again drawing near to the eastern Ukrainian city of Izium, leaving residents fearing complete obliteration this time.

This renewed threat comes after the city previously endured a five-month Russian occupation in 2022. That earlier occupation left behind severe destruction, including ruined buildings and a mass grave.
