The Villena Treasure, one of the most valuable Bronze Age artifacts in Europe, is raided and robbed.

The Tesoro de Villena, a significant collection of Bronze Age gold artifacts, was stolen from the local museum in Villena, Alicante, during the early hours of Thursday. The theft of these historical items, which date back to approximately 1000 BC, has prompted an active investigation by the Civil Guard and the Judicial Police.

Regarded as one of the most valuable archaeological ensembles of the Bronze Age in Europe, the collection consists primarily of gold jewelry and metalwork. Authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the breach at the museum.
