In the early hours of Saturday, August 2, an explosive-laden truck detonated outside the Metropolitan Police facilities in Cúcuta, Colombia. The attack resulted in 14 injuries, including 11 police officers and three civilians. Authorities have since implemented new security measures in response to the incident, which has been attributed to the ELN guerrilla group.
